Fun., Gotye e Mumford&Son trionfano ai 55esimi Grammy Award

Il gruppo newyorchese Fun. si aggiudica premi più prestigiosi: rivelazione
 e canzone dell’anno

LOS ANGELES – Fun., Gotye e Mumford&Sons sono stati i vincitori della 55esima edizione dei Grammy Awards, dopo quella del 2012 segnata dal trionfo di Adele. Quest’anno è stato il gruppo newyorchese Fun. ad aggiudicarsi i due titoli più prestigiosi: rivelazione dell’anno e canzone dell’anno per la loro hit “We are young“.

A tallonarli un’altra band, The Black Keys, secondi nelle categoria Album dell’Anno e Miglior incisione e primi nell’hit parade di Miglior album Rock, dove hanno scalzato due mostri sacri quali i Coldplay e i Muse.

Ai Mumford&Sons è stato assegnato il premio per il loro “Babel“, definito il miglior album dell’anno, e a Gotye quello per il disco dell’anno con “Somebody That I Used to Know“.

Tante canzoni, sì, alcune belle altre meno e qualche momento più piacevole di altri, come quando Justin Timberlake ha ricreato un’ambientazione anni ’50, stile Rat Pack, per presentare insieme a Jay-Z ha il nuovo singolo Suit & Tie, o quando Sting, Rihanna, Bruno Mars , Ziggy e Damian Marley hanno cantato un medley di canzoni reggae e il palco era tappezzato di immagini di Bob Marley, o ancora, quando Kelly Clarkson ha reso omaggio a Carole King cantando, impeccabilmente, la indimenticabile Natural Woman.

Adele ha portato a casa il primo grammofonino della serata con la sua Set Fire To The Rain e per la prima volta indossava un abito floreale sui toni del rosso firmato Valentino.
